i wonder what we will see this year?

I'd certainly like some Skull Island footage and an announcement on who the Godzilla 2 director will be.

Not that this impacts Godzilla/Legendary, but Marvel and Fox are both skipping, aren't they?

James Gunn just announced on Facebook that they'll be showcasing Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 at Comic-Con.

In terms of the Legendary stuff, they will probably release a teaser trailer for "Kong: Skull Island", and release a full blown trailer for "The Great Wall". We may get an official title for "Godzilla 2" and they may announce a director for that film (though I personally doubt it). Still, Legendary has been known to throw a few surprises at us, so we shall see.

... of course, it'd be great if they had Kong there as their emphasis, DeKnight and Boyega to do a little pre-production hyping for PacRim 2, and cap off with a Godzilla 2 director announcement.

It'd be the united kaiju front!
