Here's a really crazy idea. Why doesn't a toy company just focus on creating great toys, both for kids and for collectors, rather than wasting so much time and money on a movie universe that's probably going to end up sucking anyway.

It's about time they got Bay out of the driver's seat of the Transformers franchise. The 2007 movie was good, but it's been an avalanche into the abyss ever since. What we need now is an animated movie done in the G1 style as a palate cleanser.

Hmmm... so, what's this about Hasbro getting the Power Rangers toy license and having the option to outright buy PR off of Saban after a time?

I've only watched a couple-three of the Fast & Furious movies, one of them happened to be THE FATE OF THE FURIOUS which Gray directed. I thought TFotF was a pretty good & entertaining movie, seems like F. Gary Gray is a top notch choice to direct a MASK movie.

Smart move on their part. They don't have to worry about casting an A-list lead, so they can re-cast whenever they like. Heck, they can have 20 guys playing him in the same movie if they want to. They don't even need a voice-actor to dub lines.

I remember way, way back that Marvel had a comic line of Micronauts. Guess they don't own the rights anymore, or else they'd be making the movie and the Avengers would have gone through the Microverse, not the Quantum Realm.
