I'm down for Dino Riders. Loved it (and moreso the toys) as a kid

IDEA!!! They should hire Chris Pratt to be a Valorian who commands a squad of laser and other tech equipped raptors.

I think there's a lot of great potential in a Dino-Riders movie. The concept is fantastic, and I think there's enough world building between mini-comics & cartoon to have a good platform to develop a movie on (hopefully multiple movies).

i'm with XvGojira on this. As long as there are lots of dinosaurs with laser and missiles fighting other dinosaurs with lasers and missiles, i will see this movie.

Honestly for the most part no one gave a "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" about the storyline of dino-riders so even if they butchered the characters and story like they did in the transformer films I would not care as long as there are people riding dinosaurs decked out in cybernetic gear... and explosions. With Transformers, for as bad as the plots were for the original series, we still cared about the characters. I can rattle off most of the autobots/decepticons and human characters. I can't name one Valorian but I for damn sure remember all the dinosaur figures I had as a kid. Also the T-Rex better have buzz saws on his ankles.

I don't hate the Transformers movies for "ruining" the characters. I hate them for being bad movies.

The X-Men films are fairly unfaithful to the comics and some of the characters, and I love them. Movies are adaptations. They take liberties, change things, and omit stuff, and they SHOULD. Dino-Riders can be about a kid walking into a museum and playing with the T-Rex bones and finding a gem inside and being sucked into an alternate dimension where the Dino-Rider Wars are taking place, and there aren't any of the whacky aliens like the toad-faced dude and Hammerhead and such, but if it's a good movie, I'll still like it.

I fully support a Dino-riders movie. While I know I watched the cartoon, I can't remember a darn thing about it. But I remember the toys! As long as it's faithful enough to the LOOK of the toys and art; and is a fun, enjoyable movie, I'll be happy.

[shrug] Good thing nobody is asking for your permission, then, I guess.

As long as the movie looks like this, I don't think I'll have any complaints. Like O.Supreme said, the pre-existing story is pretty thin which will give the folks developing the story for the movie more room to work with and even change things up as needed.

In all honesty, Jurassic World kinda sorta felt like the first steps into a Dino Riders world... And I loved it! If they do this right it could be amazing.

I wonder if Solipsist Film (and Mattel by extension) partner up with Universal for the movie could there be some resource sharing as far as CGI dinosaur models go?
