The latest comic book adaptation from the director of Kick-Ass (2010) and X-Men: First Class (2011), two films I enjoyed immensely.

I like Vaughn, and that's honestly probably the only reason I'm not out...because the trailers don't look very appealing to me at all.

Wow this movie was a lot of fun. It's very old school mixed with a modern feel, mostly swearing and violence. I know it doesn't stand a chance against 50 Shades but I hope word of mouth spreads cause the audience I was in responded wonderfully to all the right moments. It really deserves to do as well as the big Marvel movies, even with an R rating.

I didn't see this in theaters but glad to hear it was at least somewhat of a success.

I blind-bought this movie on Blu-ray yesterday because I got some money for my b-day and it was on sale.

WOW. This was AMAZING. I had so much fun with it. It was just a blast. So quirky and fun and tongue-in-cheek and over-the-top and pointedly sarcastic yet reverent of what it was sending up, it just sang to me. It sang sweet, whistful nothings and floated me off into a realm where heads explode and sword-legs slash body parts and English gentlemen kick ass and martinis are stirred for ten seconds while staring at unopened bottles of vermouth.

4.5/5. My only complaints being that it is a tad light on gore for something that definitely goes for an R-rating (specifically and especially when ) and where the hell are all the other Kingsman? Lancelot and Gallahad are accounted for by the movie, and Percival is KIND OF, but there's like 7-8 just completely unaccounted for super-spies that presumably could and probably should be helping our main group fight this threat to the world.

The Golden Circle was a bit underwhelming at the box office, so I'm taking this with a grain of salt.
