Monster Zero x SciFi Japan - Archive Only

Maybe everyone already knows about this and I'm arriving late to the party (like usual), but since I didn't see this posted anywhere... I just read that Kevin Feige announced that Marvel has reaquired the rights for Blade, Ghost Rider and The Punisher. I doubt we'll be getting any reboots right away, but it got me to thinking that it might make for a decent team-up with these characters, seeing as how they're all so dark, grim and vengence driven. Nice to see Ghost Rider finally taken out of the hands of totaly clueless idiots. Always loved him. Probably won't see another GR movie anytime soon since there were two turds so recently. *SIGH*

Now if Marvel can only get X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Spider-Man back, we will be in great shape.

Marvel got these characters back a long time ago. I'm not sure why people are acting like this is news.

Mouth - yesterday I read it on Yahoo and it was the first time I'd heard of it.

Kain - don't count on seeing X-Men return to the House of Ideas anytime soon. If this new reboot of FF is a disaster (sure sounds like it) then it may kill further FF films and Marvel will get a chance to return them to the fold. Same goes with Spider-Man. I keep hoping that this awful last Spidey film will torpedo Sony's plans for their Sinister Six, et.al. / limpdick Spider-Man characters "shared universe" idea. Still, as long as superhero movies continue to make money, they'll keep trying over and over.

So...I'm not sure if TV CG is up to creating a decent Ghost Rider, but mayhaps Blade, Punisher, and Ghost Rider will be part of some more MCU Netflic stuff following the Defenders shows.

Wasn't there already a live action Blade television show?

Since there hasnt really been any chatter on here, it probably doesn't need its own thread, so i'll just post here. I really liked Jessica Jones. Right now the Marvel Netflix Universe is much more interesting to me than the Marvel TV Universe or the Marvel Cinematic Universe... or even the Marvel Now (or whatever they are calling it) Comic Universe.

I'm looking forward to this. The Punisher has always been a character I really liked, and he seems like he's taking the role very seriously.

Since they have Reyes as Ghost Rider in the modern day, they should make a Johnny Blaze TV series set in the 70s.

I just watched the first five episodes and I like what I have watched so far. The conspiracy stuff is interesting and the battle in the forest was pretty awesome. I also love the banter between Frank and Chip.

Not sure where they are going with the Misty Knight-Lite story though as so far she is my least favorite part of the show. Why do all of these shows need to have some sort of focus on the cops or something? I've never thought Punisher works well on his own, as he works better as a supporting character, but I wish this show would have done something different than another cop subplot. They're just rehashing Luke Cage and Jessica Jones at this point.

I also hope some actual Punisher villains show up. Oh, and that they don't make Not Blofeld be Jigsaw.

Jigsaws real name is Billy Russo/AKA Franks best friend and boss at ANVIL. It will be interesting to see where he goes bad but my guess is


But we'll have to see. I'm five in as well and I'm really enjoying it.
