"THE CREATURE: RETURNS" - Godzilla Knock-Off??

Way back in 2010 Halcyon Pix(a low budget production company often known for their mockbusters similar to Asylum) announced a new series of modern film versions of the classic film monsters Dracula, The Mummy, The Wolfman( which seems to have been dropped now), and The Creature.....now years later they finally seem to be becoming a reality with "DRACULA: REBORN", "THE MUMMY: RESURRECTED", ...Although, "THE CREATURE: RETURNS" features something entirely not like the original creature at all....Seems they've opted to make the film about a gigantic creature a la "Godzilla" instead and the trailer definitely looks to draw a great deal from L.P.'s film:

Cool, count me in! That Mummy movie sounds pretty neat too. ^_^

Reading that title, with mentions of new Dracula and Mummy movies, I thought this would be about a reboot of Creature From the Black Lagoon. I've been waiting for that one since the mid 80's.
