Interesting.
Also, since principal photography has wrapped up (according to the Twitter), I would assume they chose March 2015 as a release date, as 2014 has already been saturated (or maybe take a year for post-production?).
It was always hard for me to get into Melville's book. I only became interesting after seeing the Gregory Peck film (which itself is in need of a restoration and a re-release on DVD and Blu-ray).
