I haven't seen any posts on CW's new series so I figured I would start one. So far it's been pretty good. The expected soap opera elements are there, but they are done well, mixed in with some truly impressive fight sequences and mystery. The cast works well together, and you wonder when certain characters will live up to their comic book namesakes. I am enjoying the anticipation as to the revelation of who John Barrowman's character is, as well as learning everything that happened to Oliver during his five years as a castaway.

We just finished episode 14 of Arrow S2 and this season has definitely improved on the first but I do have two issues with it. The first is just a nitpick, but I am really sick to death of hearing them pronounce Ra's' name as Raz!! It is very annoying and was the only negative I had about Nolan's trilogy. The name is freaking Ra's!! Denny O'Neil states it is Ra's. They even mentioned how it should pronounced in Batman Beyond. How the hell do these guys not know how this guy's name is supposed to be pronounced?
My second issue is with Black Canary. I'm not sure if it is just the way she is written, or the actress, but I do not care for her one bit. Her acting comes off stiff and she just does not scream Black Canary to me at all. I also hate her mask.
Aside from that, it has been a great season so far but I am surprised they chose to bring in Nyssa instead of Talia. Well, I hope we get to see Ra's and he lays down the law of how to properly pronounce his name. I do think Michael Jai White makes a great Bronze Tiger though and their version of Clock King was kind of cool.

I have friends who keep telling me to watch this, and I've gone through episodes 1-11. Ugh. I liked this better when it was Batman Begins.

Just started season 3 and finished the crossover episode with Flash and his crew (who I find fun but kind of annoying, at least the dude character). I should watch Flash as well I guess.
And as much as I'm enjoying the series, all I'm thinking is while watching is "why is this not Batman?". To have a live action Batman series would be fantastic and if one were to happen right now it'd almost be considered an Arrow rip-off. But I just wonder how far and wide the crossover/character introductions will get. We're already getting a animated web-mini series with Vixen. Will we see the Bat or will the Bat and his family and most of his rouges gallery (we've already heard Harley and apparently she's going to be in a future suicide squad episode, unless I miss understood a behind the scenes photo I saw floating around)or will they be tied up in the rights with Gotham (like how there was no Joker in the last few seasons of Justice League because of The Batman cartoon).
I just want to see a live action DC universe come together like Marvel has been doing with their movies and it seems like they're doing a better job of it on TV than they are in the movies.

Flash is hands down the best series on TV currently and the best super hero live action series thus far.

I love the Flash, and I'm finally finishing season 1 of Arrow (good god this has been a struggle).
The Flash is great though. Best superhero show I've ever seen.
Minus the 60s Batman, probably.

60s Batman pretty much captures exactly what the Batman comics of the late 60s were, and that's a big part of what has made the show so much fun and enduring.

Most of the early episodes of Batman '66 were pretty close adaptations of actual Batman comics.
Also, I heard Simon Stagg was in Arrow and the Flash and was killed! How's he supposed to turn Rex Mason into Metamorpho if he's dead?!

Yeah, season 1 of Arrow was decent, but then again, it was the first season. Flash, on the other hand, feels more like it is in its second season rather than its first.
The only actors I do not care for in Flash are Iris and Linda, but that is probably because they are poorly written. Nevertheless, they are no where near as bad as that wooden thing playing Laurel.
