Hollywood sucks. Singer has no business being a free man, let alone filming a movie. Adding insult to injury, let's not forget that in most versions of her story, Red Sonja is a rape survivor. I'm sure a new adaptation would rewrite her origins to avoid that, but it sure as hell wouldn't help in this case.
Whoever owns Red Sonja now (Dynamite Entertainment, I think) should take the film rights back from Millennium Films and cast aside everyone currently associated with the project--Singer, Avi Lerner, etc. Give the property to a more reputable company and new producers, and put Lexi Alexander or another woman in the director's chair. We don't have to settle for this crap they're trying to feed us right now.
