James Gunn has been teasing a secret horror film that he is currently filming. So far the only performer he has mentioned on Instagram (that I recognize) has been Elizabeth Banks. Fingers crossed for a good horror comedy

The director of I Saw the Devil is doing a Korean live action remake of Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade. Netflix just bought the international distribution, so we'll be able to see it pretty soon!

^ Hiring a notorious creep to direct a movie about an iconic female hero is just about as tone deaf a thing you could do in 2018.

Also, he has a habit of disappearing for days or weeks while making movies so why in the hell would you want to make a movie for you?

Exactly. To add my own views on top of that, the easiest way to make a Red Sonja movie palatable to a wide audience is to hire a reputable woman director. On the flip side, tapping a renowned pedophile for any movie at all showcases everything wrong with Hollywood. He can't be allowed to get the gig.

A WarnerMedia streaming service is something I could get into. I'm not subscribing to DC Universe or HBO Now but if there was a streaming service that had all of that DC and HBO content plus classic Hanna-Barbera cartoons, Looney Tunes, shows from Cartoon Network and Adult Swim, and films from the WB and New Line libraries? I might go for that, if it's cheap enough and they don't hold back on the content.
