I don't like any of these movies.
Don't shoot me, please.

Wasn't the original plan for the 2nd film to be a prequel (this back story was later told in one of the Animatrix shorts) and the 3rd film to be the finale? I heard the studio balked when they heard that the first sequel wouldn't feature any of the cast or environment audiences were already introduced to in the first film. If that's true then 2 and 3 are really #3 split up and filled with foam peanuts.

Those two ideas seem much better than what we got.

That Matrix Reloaded parody stands out in my mind more than anything does.
As I finished re-watching the trilogy I feel that if they do more they need to focus on the Matrix more (like in the first film) because the most memorable moments in Reloaded and Revolutions really come from the Matrix world.

I still enjoy the first one. The rest...I like an isolated scene or shot here or there. I MIGHT be interested in some sort of cut of the final two films that more or less just centers around the Agent Smith stuff.
