As long as we get another actual movie and not another sequel in 2014, I will be happy. I am getting sick of these unnecessary sequels even if they are good.

The cast of Oscar-winner Pete Docter's follow-up top "Up" includes Lewis Black, Bill Hader and Phyllis Smith.

I saw Inside Out earlier tonight and it may well be Pixar's finest film yet. It's clever, poignant, and there is so very much to ponder over.

The way everyone FAWNED over this movie, I was really expecting something a little better. It's fine, but where's the funny? Like, it's good, and it's heartfelt and everything, but holy CRAP, if I took a young kid to this, at some point, they'd just check out and wonder why it's so sad and not more funny. I feel like Pixar kinda forgot their core audience of CHILDREN here.

My kids seemed to be pretty entertained by it, more so than I was. Sure it has a lot of sadness (no pun intended), but it has it's moments. If I could just get a condensed version of all Lewis Blacks' dialogue as Anger, I'd definitely be down for that

.
Oh if anyone hasn't seen the honest trailer for this, it's definitely worth a watch.

AKA "Riley, portrait of a pre-teen runaway"!
Saw it for the first time. It had its moments, but outside of Lewis Black's character and the staging of the dream sequence, I was hoping we would have seen more of the clever and funny situations, Pixar movies have been known to have. And while the characters inside Riley were indeed fascinating, I found Riley herself to be rather dull and didn't much care for her.
I will put this on the mid to lower echelon of the Pixar franchise. But because it is Pixar, this will take home the Oscar.

Of course it is going to take home the Oscar, it is the best animated movie of the year and one of the best movies of the year period. Nothing animated wise even comes close to being half as good.
