"Diana Terranova Signs on to PIRANHACONDA
And finally, Matchflick Resident Celebrity, Diana Terranova, (8213: GACY HOUSE, MILF) has been cast as Jaime in the Roger Corman monsterfest, PIRANHACONDA. It's being directed by Jim Wynorski and is written by SHARKTOPUS scribe Michael MacLean.

The movie revolves around the battle with a creature "with razor sharp teeth and 100 feet of constricting power." Filming begins in February - in Hawaii. We will follow up with PIRANHACONDA after filming has commenced.

Catch her interview tomorrow, in the Matchflick Saturday Science Fiction column, Twenty Questions with Diana Terranova - Part I." Part II will continue on Wednesday."

Check out the Facebook comments at the bottom of this review. Wynorski is going apesh*t because the author gave the movie 2 out of 5 knives. The documentary on Netflix about him made him look like a slimey, pervy sleazeball, and here he just proves himself to be a huge baby.

It's unfortunate because I've been reading Dread Central for years and happen to know that that particular author is (was?) a big fan of Wynorski's also. What a d-bag.

I think when you sign on for a project titled "Piranhaconda,"you've pretty much ruled out any Oscar noms from the get-go.
