in speaking of already established characters, voice actors probably ARE the best route to go. mostly due to the fact that yes, a voice actor can imitate a voice really well so that there's not much appreciable difference (Futurama has some of the best examples of this, with Santa being voice by different people, and Zap being a close sound-alike to Phil Hartman [whom the role was originally written for])
but something like "Paul"...I don't see the difference between Billy West and Billy Zane...
I'm not talking about Looney Tunes with celebrity voices, I'm referring to the fact that just about ANY time there's a movie with voice-acting, the people on this board get up in arms that they used celebrities...
believe it or not voice actors can't do EVERYTHING, there's a reason Maude Flanders was killed off on The Simpsons...
