Batman R.I.P.???I didnt get that at all...
just because NOLAN is ending his story-arc doesn't mean he's killing off batman...

^Yeah, after the Nolan trilogy ends I hope we'll get a new cast and crew to continue the story: have it be a few years later, Batman firmly established as a crimefighter, with a bit more of a comic book tone so that characters like Penguin and Mr. Freeze can appear.
It will also be seen as in better taste when The Joker returns, played by another actor, to have a new actor playing Bats. Having a re-cast Joker against Bale might be seen as insensative.
Also, I'm waiting for Swamp Thing, Etrigan, and Sandman movies WB.
Oh, and Wonder Woman! We need a great female superhero movie out there.

In all honesty, when Nolan leaves, unless Bale is Batman and Ledger is Joker, I won't want another Batman movie for several years unless Denny O'Neil writes it.

I'm glad he's ending the story with the third. Simply because most superhero franchises seem to go wrong once they reach the third film.
The fourth films in such franchises are typically unbearable. So I think Batman will at least go out of this iteration on a good note.
