This title doesn't really fall under the sci-fi/horror catagory but it is going to be a suspense filled film. I suppose you could consider this a "Monster Train" though. I am a supervisr at the Wheeling & Lake Erie RR in the Mechanical Dept. I had the opportunity to escort the art dept. folks around our property and also scouted the freight cars used in the film. I spent a week with Julian Ashby the Art Director "Transformers 2" measuring and sketching locomotive cabs and various rail cars. I couldn't believe all the little details involved in getting just the right "look" for a film. They began filming in late August in Brewster, Ohio where our shop is located, and I was invited to Base camp where they serve lunch and dinner...Great food. I briefly met Denzel at a lunch and also was in line in front of Jessy Schram but at the time I didn't know who she was. Good lookin girl with the ripped and torn jeans. Kinda foul mouthed though she was MFing all over the place and I was kinda shocked by that and thats how I learned who she was from her pic on IMDB.
Anyways, here is the IMDB link:

also a couple of cool youtube videos:

note the stunt man jumping across the tank cars going over the bridge...damn.

We just got the freight cars back a few weeks ago and had to restencil them to the original car numbers and do an inspection on them for any damage filming might have done and found some light damage to a few cars but nothing major....until yesterday. We got the lead yellow covered hopper back and they might have to buy this one from us. Apparently they placed a camera in this one and cut out the roof and end sheets. For some reason, they filled the bottom of the hopper pockets with Honey comb cereal! It's true (you just can't make this stuff up) I suppose it was for the camera man to snack on but I'm not sure!

I did some some dumpster diving back in Sept. when they finished filming in Brewster and found some copies of some scene scripts. Very interesting and action filled. Hope this film is succesful and that people enjoy it. I hope the locker room scene makes the final cut because it was my office they used for shots of people coming and going from the locker room to the rail yard :)

sorry if the links dont work..maybe a mod could fix em. they will paste just fine though.
