See, I TOLD you he was gonna go ahead and do The Talking Cure or Cosmopolis... The Talking Cure finally got greenlit and I've been wanting him to tackle that project since I first heard about it years ago... that Fly remake thing had no credible sources and nothing had been heard of it since. The Talking Cure is moving ahead with a great cast, which is expected from DC. Not a big Knightley fan, but I'm AMPED to see Christoph Waltz from Inglorious Basterds working with the master!

So suck it Fox... nobody wants your Fly remake.

Well Fox has killed Cronenberg's Fly sequel. With the way studios work these days, I wouldn't be surprised if they get some hack music video director to make a lame remake instead.

Speaking of the Fly, the October issue of Rue Morgue was a fantastic retrospective on the Cronenberg film, with an interview with the man himself, as well as articles on the original Fly series from the 50s and the Chris Wallas sequel to the Cronenberg movie. I highly recommend it.
