Lussier did the oddly overpraised My Bloody Valentine remake, which was fun mostly because of the 3-D gimmick. For some reason horror fans are jumping up and down with excitement for him taking on H3, which I don't understand. Surely Rob Zombie's movies weren't very good, but at least he tried to make things different. Lussier is bound to make a formulaic 3-D slasher just like MBV. It'll just be like any other Halloween movie only with gimmicky 3-D.
I really don't see how getting the guy behind a sub par slasher remake and White Noise 2 is a step up for this franchise.
