So apparently all the horror nerds are going crazy because Rob Zombie isn't coming back and Patrick Lussier is. Lussier did the oddly overpraised My Bloody Valentine remake, which was fun mostly because of the 3-D gimmick. For some reason horror fans are jumping up and down with excitement for him taking on H3, which I don't understand. Surely Rob Zombie's movies weren't very good, but at least he tried to make things different. Lussier is bound to make a formulaic 3-D slasher just like MBV. It'll just be like any other Halloween movie only with gimmicky 3-D.

I really don't see how getting the guy behind a sub par slasher remake and White Noise 2 is a step up for this franchise.
