I don't think it was suicide.............not at 72 and still healthy. He still had a life.

RIP David Carradine. I will always remember him from Roger Corman's cult film Death Race 2000, where he played the racer Frankenstein.

Haha that's not from experience but it sure seems like a better plan than tying a cord around your neck just to get some jollies...

Having someone choking you instead of doing it, uh, manually also seems preferable, though that can wind up going bad too.

Here is an interesting and VERY believable cause as possible cover up!

I remember very well when the assassination theory started about Bruce Lee. I remember some martial arts expert, he may have even claimed to be a ninja (that's a long time ago) on the Tonight Show being interviewed by Johnny Carson about the possibilities of how Lee could have been killed and made to look like brain swelling.
As for Carradine? I can't believe he'd intentionally take his own life. Who knows? People's lives are complicated. But autoerotic asphyxiation sounds more probable to me than revenge for him trying to bust up a martial arts secret society.

Yeah I hear you, it is hard to say well that is not what happened, period, I just found this article interesting & also a possible cause, I have read some good books on the martial arts world and some of these sects & secret schools are pretty intense and secretive, which in turn the last thing they would want to be is "exposed".
I wonder if that man on the Tonight Show was Stephen K. Hayes, "the real American Ninja" ...who has a lot of controversy surrounding him as well.

They're saying this was probably murder now, I don't doubt the possibility. When you film in Hong Kong you have to pay protection to the local Triad-types, it wouldn't be the first time an actor has been killed becasue of them.
