Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978)

After watching this movie again not long ago , the first time in a long time, it sure as hell stood the test of time, in fact I would almost say this can be fit into my top ten list.
I think this film has an amazing bleak feel to it ,any sign of hope is lost in this classic Sci Fi thriller, great camera work, special effects & acting...classic stuff for sure.
I like the original from 56" but this one takes the cake.

I love this movie. Even the half man, half dog with the goofy banjo music playing.

i wonder if they would ever make a version that was close to the book where the podpeople give up on earth because man is to darn stubborn.

The Invasion (2007) is another take on this story that's worth a watch. The ending is forgettable compared to the soul-crushing 1978 movie, but it's good until that point.

Man that moved screwed me up for years. I Saw it very young. A friend of the family took us to see it. I had nightmares for a long time. LOL.
