Honestly, the only reason I bet they are going to do more INdiana Jones movie is because it has an established name. Everyone in Hollywood is too damn lazy and scared to create anything original anymore. Everything has to have a name attached to it. That is why pretty much everything we are getting are comic or novel adaptations, remakes, sequels, and 80s toy commercials.

I'd kinda prefer someone else if only because Starlord is already kinda like Space Indiana Jones and so I'd just rather see someone else take on that kind of a role.

I think that opening scene in GotG is very Indiana Jones-esque, but it feels more like a gag than an reoccuring part of the character... So far i don't know the actor from anything that isn't comedic, so it's hard for me to picture him in the role. But maybe Disney wants to ham up the franchise a bit, in which case its a good fit.

Also why is this thread called Indiana Jones 5? Shouldn't be called Indiana Jones 4 since Holy Grail was the third film and there hasn't been an Indiana Jones film since then?
