Very excited about Wright's new film. He's a director who really takes advantage of cinematic language, and that's an excellent fit for horror!

I don't know man. They were lucky the last two movies worked. and I'm pretty sure if they make another they'll have to kill off Rocky to try and wring out emotions, which would still work on me even if it's predictable and a cheap move.

On the other hand, who knows. Maybe they'll keep going and Creed will just as crazy as later Rocky movies. So like, if he fights a robot in Creed 3, I down with that but if it's just another basic boxer who wants a shot at the son of a legend trained by another legend, I'll pass on it.

I love the Rocky franchise but the Creed movies... don't need Rocky anymore. He was the mentor, he rediscovered his desire to keep living after the death of his loved ones, he's reconnected with his son. He's done. Maybe he gives Adonis a pep talk over a Skype call in the next one and that's it. Develop new side characters. Having to accommodate legacy charactets can be fun, but it can also prevent them from introducing new people to keep the franchise fresh. What if Adonis befriends a rival boxer? That could be a cool wrinkle.

By all means keep the series going. It's the most consistantly good American film franchise.

I love all the Rocky and Creed movies, and am glad Creed 3 is moving forward. I don't think it's a good idea to keep bringing back legacy characters as the villain. Viktor Drago worked because Adonis had a past with the Drago family, but there's no reason for him to fight Clubber's son or grandson or whatever. It should be someone new and different. I have no problem bringing back Mr T back for a cameo or even a mentor of some kind. Stallone has said that he's done with Rocky and he won't be back for anymore, so Clubber being Adonis's new mentor or trainer could work I suppose. Whatever they do, I'm looking forward to Creed 3!
