"I can only assume it was a clerical error," the director of "Brick" and "The Brothers Bloom" joked about the reason why Lucasfilm brought him on board to direct "Episode VIII."

Alex Winter, who played Bill S. Preston in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989) and Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (1991), reveals that if the third film is ever made it will feature "many versions" of Bill and "Ted" Theodore Logan (Keanu Reeves). Excellent!

The world of Tron has always had excellent potential, even growing as advanced computers became more and more apart of people's everyday lives. I had long thought that Tron could truly have been Disney's Star Wars (in fact, the Sith Inquisitor on SW:Rebels looks a whole lot like he could have been on of the MCP's lieutenants, he even wears his lightsabre like a T:L era Identity Disc)
Disney was so very much committed to Tron: Legacy, but then so very "let's dump this ASAP" when it came the follow-up animated series that I did not expect to hear of production on another Tron movie after it was announced Disney had bought Lucasfilm.
So, I'm pleased with the news, I hope a new Tron movie really does go into production this fall.
