^Hellboy 2 is my favorite superhero-type movie ever made, one of my favorite fantasy adventure movies, period. I think it stands up well on its own, and while I'd like a third film I'm still thankful that GDT struggled to make the two films we did get.

The ending of HB2 leaves some loose ends, but it's also sweet and makes me smile. I have no problem leaving them there.
