So, a couple things, very nitpicky stuff but:

This one actually kinda bugged me:
The dude at the bar who tries to fight Clark...couldn't they get a bigger actor for that role? I mean, Clark looks reasonably non-aggressive and all, but why in the world would someone half your size and muscle mass try to start a fight with you? That scene looks like me picking a fight with The Rock.

Is there any reason for Zod to want Lois on the ship? I might have missed something, but Faora is like "we want this woman too" and I'm all like "why?"

I wanted more explanation of just exactly what the deal was with the whole mind-meld thing...It REALLY seemed like nothing more than a plot device.

Like I said, most of this is nitpicky...but just little things that kinda irked me slightly.

Isn't Zod's introduction to Earth AWESOME?! I love that part, his face being almost impossible to see and all. Really cool, and Shannon's delivery is phenomenal.

I hate how everyone is being all whiny with complaints like "Superman doesn't do anything to PROVE he's the good guy, but everyone believes him." but the ENTIRE TIME leading up to the release of the movie, everyone said they wanted Supes to be a symbol of hope...so what do they want, something people will BELIEVE IN or something to PROVE ITSELF? The answer: they just want to b*tch.

Why on earth? I’ll tell you why. A lot of smaller guys are not afraid of larger dudes. After 30 plus years in Martial Arts I can tell you the smallest guys are the most dangerous, training or not. Big dudes are deterrents, that’s why they are bouncers most of the time. Most of those guys never have had to fight, they are just big. In this case he was a bar rat probably half-drunk so with that it makes it worse. That’s not a thing to nitpick. It was obvious Clark could crush him but in the context of the movie you see what he did to his truck so it made sense.

I thought that trucker filled the role just fine. I think the main point was to be a D-Bag and those come in all shapes and sizes. Yes, picking a fight with someone like The Rock or Baas Rutten is incredibly dumb, but I think that was the entire point of that role. Just my take on it.
