Oh let me explain then.

Calling something "Gay" is the same thing as calling something stupid here in the Midwest. In other parts of the country I've heard the word stupid interchanged with other words and it doesn't make sense but it's just something that happened a long time ago and stuck. How's that?

Ed Wood may have been a rather inept movie maker, but he did make movies- and made them because he loved to do that. i'll take his fun movies over most of the crap out there these days, especially "homages" to such movies that fail miserably.

as far as "gay" goes, well, i don't like the word myself as an epithet, but it does seem to be stuck in usage. i've heard gay people use it as well, even.
