All I can say is enjoyed it(and PJs also). Aside from some obvious bad fx, on its own terms its pretty good. I still hear the score on easy listening stations in elevators!

No such thing as Kino... But yeah the 76 film was a good film. Jackson's film did 200 mil + at the box office, and by no means a flop. Was either the original no... but Jackson proved you can remake a CLASSIC! Not to mention we got some great Kong games, figures and books. It was nice to see Kong back in the spotlight again, and even better to see it do well at the box office. (Not to mention that T-Rex fight scene was bar none the best cgi monster battle ever)

Both Kong and Transformers were a success, now we just have to wait and see if they can get Hulk right.

Why aren't there any clips of KING KING LIVES! WTF I want to youtube the sequel and nothing shows up, just the NES game.

I saw the movie when I was 8 or something and all I remember is Kong ripping some hick hunters in half. I demand video now. :(

Fun Fact-
This was the first movie I purposefully watched on TV. By that,I mean I'm sure I saw parts of movies my parents have on,but this was the first one I looked forward to seeing from the commercials and sat down and watched start to finish.
I haven't seen it since,though.

I don't think I've seen either of these movies but I remember the image with the rocket vividly!

Actually I thought the suit looked pretty well done. A bad rug would be more fitting for the Toho Kong.

I liked the costume okay. Couldn't stand the giant Kong prop in a cage with a crown on his head. Looked way too fake against the established fakery.
