I loved this book when I was little. I'll totally be seeing this.

This book just screams for a stop motion animated adaptation in the vein of The Nightmare Before Christmas.

That looks aweome beyond belief....btw...I love the ideas that were used to create the monsters for the film screen, namely using real suits with digital faces...who knows..it could be a technique used in a Godzilla film somewhere down the road...hopefully a legitement compromise for die hard suit fans and people who think they can go after 50 years. Anyways...I'm really looking foward to this film, hopefully they don't change it too much...a disturbing children's film...I say bring it! Muwuhahahaha...over the top?

Awesome!!! So they're going the Suitmation route after all! I liked the test footage I saw last year.
I always thought that Where the Wild Things Are should have a Jim Henson kind of feel to it. (Incidentally, it was also the very first book read on Sesame Street!)
I can't wait to see how it unfurls!

I'll do a hand-made merge, at least of my post:
"Looks great so far!"
