I must say, the wait (for the damn thing to download) was worth it! :o That was delicious!

I liked the first film a lot and this looks like it has the potential to be even better. I just hope it doesn't take as long to come to UK shores as that one did (I'd already imported the R1 DVD and had it for at least a good month or more by the time it came out in cinemas over here).

Well, I thought there was a bit too much action movie cliche-ness to the second half of the trailer.... but the footage from the movie itself looks amazing.

^...Upon watching the trailer 6 more times I have decided that it is the greatest thing ever and that all is right with the world.

I liked all the SFX except that stupid thing that came out of the ground. I do enjoy non-CG effects.

The FULL Hellboy II trailer. Sweet Jesus, this baby's a piece of art. The little old lady creature that looks like she walked out of Nightmare Before Christmas is the best part.

Weird news... and I hate Family Guy, and was looking forward to Kertchmann's role but whatever.

But I have complete faith that GDT will deliver the goods since he hasn't let me down with a film yet.

Anyone know if there's any truth to the rumors that GTD and Perlman had a huge falling out during the making of HB2?

Only one week away and I am soooo excited about this. The clips I've seen have been wonderful and I have been digging all the promotional stuff they've been doing (ads featuring Hellboy meeting up with various TV characters of whatever channel that ad is airing on, Hellboy's PSA, interviews not with Ron Perlman- but with Hellboy). Hell, did I just see and ad for FX's showing the first movie this thursday, with commentary by Hellboy?!?

I opened the Art of the Movie book the other day and glanced at the begining and the last page (both of which contain huge spoilers) and was overwhelmed with both "Damn, I wish I didn't see that," and "This movie is going to be awesome."

...and the reviews have been really positive. I think that this, The Dark Knight, and Wall * E will go down as a sort of nerd holy trinity of how great 2008 was.
