^ Speaking of which, why hasn't some video ("Hello, DarkSky!") company gotten off their lazy butt and released a decent copy of "Damnation Alley?" I've only seen it available from the grey/boot marketeers. Love that way-cool RV!

As I type this, I'm trying to find a decent picture of the car.. But so far no luck.
Okay, the TV guide add pictured here has now annoyed me..
(Using an image of the Buggy Crashe from Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome)
Anyway, the last we see of the Mustang that is Supposed to be under all that hardware is when McQueen and his mechainic friend begin layoing the Kevlar armor out on the mustang's shell.
Next time we see the car it's shaped like a Firebird with a bunch of stuff slapped on.
Ooh, Here's a Very nicely done but highly inaccurate replica of the car.
(Gobs of images there, folks)
Check out some of the Pre-prod drawings..
Some of 'em look kinda familliar...........

And here's a small gallery with a pic or two of the real car.
99.9% sure it's an F-Body (Camaro/Firebird)
5000000000% sure it ain't a 'Stang.
