Guys, I thought this was the coolest new show on TV this year, and was kind of shocked that even in this forum nobody was talking about it. So, whaddaya think about HEROES? The premise? The characters? The plot twists? The season finale? I'd like some feedback from you guys on this.
FYI- "HEROES", for the uninitiated, is about ordinary people from all walks of life who suddenly discover they have super powers.
So? Howboutit?

I thought the premier was awesome. I liked that it didn't try to include too many of the characters at once. We'll be re-introduced to them in coming episodes instead.
The ending was great! It made me sad though.
Spoilers:
Mr. Sulu! NOOOOOOOOOO!
At least we're getting Uhura later this season. How much do you want to bet that Sylar's father will turn out to be Spock?
hahah
End spoilers.
So who is the new bad guy? I seriously have no idea.

I decided to resurrect this thread because...well since we last left it Heroes Volume 2 ended, and Volume 3 began. So what did people think of Volume 2 and what do you think of volume 3 so far? If anyone still watches the show.

I agree, the relationships have been ludicrous and I've found it all a bit insulting after they had said they wanted to dump relationship stories after they completely FAILED to do them believably in season 2. This is one of the biggest reasons the associate producers got canned I think, along with F*CKING UP ALL THE CHARACTERS! Every single one of them has gone completely out of their element this season and destroyed the connections fans had with them. WTF! Seriously. The only character that has benefited from this season is Sylar, and even then his change from bad to good/bad has been laughable. It could have been executed so much better... along with his "relationship" with Elle. I like where they're going with the character, but it's been written so poorly.

I actually got to ghost write some of the special features on the DVD and HD release for my sister, (she's done special features for Transformers, the History Channel Rome series, and a few others) and thus had to watch the whole first season. Not a bad show, really started getting into it at the end.
The 2nd season totally ruined it for me, but I guess that's what happens when you have a writer's strike.
