Monsters vs. Aliens
Posted: Tue Mar 13, 2007 5:24 pmHeres a little bit of info I found interesting, apparently Dreamworks's next CG film is going to be entitled 'Monsters vs. Aliens' and is supposed to featurejust that, monsters fighting aliens....in a comedic, child-friendly way of course. heres what I dug up:
MONSTERS, previously titled REX HAVOC, follows an alien invasion of Earth and a monster hunter, Rex Havoc, enlists some of his former foes - Ick!, Dr. Cockroach, the 50,000 Pound Woman, and Insectosaurus (that's a concept of Insectosaurus below, which you can click on to see a bigger version of) - to help battle the aliens. DreamWorks is planning MONSTERS for a 2009 release after KUNG-FU PANDA and MADAGASCAR 2 in 2008. 2008 will also see the release of the first live-action film utilizing the new digital 3-D process, JOURNEY 3-D starring Brendan Fraser in a retelling of JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH.
