Alligator is a big favorite of mine as well, and I'm old enough to remember when it was in theatres. I was a kid at the time. I saw it later on TV and loved it, and I still do.

By the way, the film is available on DVD in English with Korean subtitles (I have a copy myself). You might be able to find it on eBay.

For me, Alligator is a forgotten classic that truly deserves both a modern remake (but a faithful one) and a special edition DVD release.

Guess what's getting a special edition dvd on September 18th? Here's a hint...

Just picked up the ALLIGATOR DVD, watched about 50 minutes of it, and damn, does it look GOOD (though the goodness of the quality differs greatly when viewed on your DVD-ROM). My only exposure to ALLIGATOR was the bits and pieces I saw on the Sci-Fi Channel, so it's pleasent to have the full, unedited flick in widescreen and to own.

Anyway, as far as the DVD goes. There's a four-minute combination of trailers for KOMODO VS. COBRA, ATTACK OF THE SABERTOOTH, and a third title that is currently leaving me at a blank.

I haven't given any of the special features (nor the commentary) a chance yet, so I can't comment on 'em.
