Court TV's North Mission Road will present tonight, "Who Killed Superman?" The show will have several medical examiners look into the mysterious death of television's first Superman, George Reeves. The show starts at 9:30 PM but check your listings.

Reeves's death is the focus of the upcoming feature, "Hollywoodland."

The show made made it look like there really isn't a mystery here. In fact when they first brought up all of the evidence that was called into question, I had already figured out reasons for them happening.

no prints on the gun: recently oiled gun
shell casing underneath the body: hit the bed before he did
bullet in the ceiling: he aimed up at his head
happy then suicide: he was hiding it or happy that his troubles would soon be over

The only thing they couldn't figure out were the bullet holes in the floor, but even that was partially explained because his fiance' accidently fired the gun the day before.

all makes since to me. seems like there's no need for a movie now.

well this is like Anastacia, JFK, Area 51-seems there will always be conspiracy theorists no matter the evidence. Reminds me of a hilarious "Onion" historical headline: "ELVIS DEAD. WHICH BEGS THE QUESTION COULD ELVIS BE ALIVE?!"
