For you 35-40 somethings who watched Ark II, Space Academy, Jason of Star Command, Groovie Goolies, The Ghost Busters (real original ones with Bob Burns as Tracy the gorilla), Isis and many more.... it looks like BCI is putting out a bunch of these Saturday morning "Kidvid" shows in DVD sets.

Along with the live action will be animated goodies such as Blackstar, Defenders of the Earth, Dungeons & Dragons, Flash Gordon and much more.

Though I'm not in my 30s yet I do remember the Ghostbusters with the Gorilla just vaguly but I remember it. I wonder if BCI could get rights to DinoWars? or what ever the name of the show was where they'd put armor on Dinosaurs to mind controll them.

I want the Real Ghostbusters released in Volume/Season sets. I assume this Ghost Busters has nothing to do with the cartoon?

It was brought to my attention by old school stop motion animator Jim Aupperle that JASON OF STAR COMMAND is out now. The DVD set sounds pretty impressive with several commentracks, a 33 minute documentary and an effects reel. (Jim was the stopmo animator on the )

$17 at DDD.
