Well, 6 years ago this movie was announced, then a lot of things happened (including Tartakovsky leaving the project and brothers Spierig choosing CGI and 3D for the film). And now we have some more news: the project is on hiatus again.

The new Dark Crystal series for Netflix from the Henson company! I'm just glad we'll be seeing Henson doing traditional creature effects for such a high profile gig.
