The Board is Down with no repair ETR. My apologies but we don't have the money or resources to repair the issue. It is broken on the back-end and is only here to view as an archive. Thank you for your years of patronage.

Going to wait on the Anniversary special until I get through the series. I'm on Series 3 right now and should be done with that by the end of next week. When I do get to the 50th I'll probably get it on Xbox Video or just order the 3D BD set.
Speaking of BD, did anyone pick up the 1-7 set? I bought S7 the day it came out but never opened it as I am debating whether I want to hold off and just get the big box set when I can afford it. Anyway, the reason I'm asking is because I read that ALL episodes were being mastered into true 1080P, is this true? Obviously S1-4 would be upconverts, but the Smith stuff was only at 1080i on BD.
I rather liked the special. It had its flaws, but there was generally enough good to outweigh the problematic stuff. It may very well be my favorite episode ever.
So that was a'ight. I loved most of it but my friend and I both agreed that for all the build-up they gave the War Doctor, he didn't do a whole lot to merit the title or the dread with which he was regarded within the film. There seemed a lot more telling than showing in that regard. John Hurt was an excellent addition to the roster of Doctors but he was still not much other than Just Another Doctor™.
