Monster Zero x SciFi Japan - Archive Only

The marketing of this film is genius. Fans are far too interested in the movie itself, rather than to pay attention to its poor production crew/cast. I hate to rain on your parade guys, but Matt Reeves' only film credit is a less than stellar romantic comedy, made a decade ago. The cast doesn't make up for it either, which is made up of tv show and horror movie actors. I have a feeling that this movie could have had great potential due to Abrams and Goddard's writing creativity, but its execution is going to be appalling. It'll rake in the bucks though, as I'm sure everyone who has heard of the film is interested in it.

It still looks like all those reports of smaller human-sized creatures being in the film as well are true though. The shadow of the woman and the other "things" clearly are guys in hazmat suits as seen in the photo that was released earlier, but whatever seems to be chasing them in the subway after the big monster goes by definitely doesn't seem (or sound) to be of the human variety.

Danno has good eyes indeed. I've been over the bit with the woman's shadow and the biohazard-suited guys several times now and she DEFINITELY looks like she's about to burst or something. Her stomach swells up massively in the split second before it cuts away, there's no doubt about it.

Could that be the reason we're seeing this bit in silhouette? Because she's about to go pop in a quite gruesome fashion, but in a way that can still keep things PG-13? I'm thinking yes.

EDIT: Also, , they've got some very good, clear pictures of some of the stuff from the trailer including balloon woman and the quick shot of the monster walking behind a building. Definitely worth a look.

It looked like it was walking towards the right, not turning around, and I think the features you're claiming to see are a real stretch.

I have to wait till I get home to view, but one of my friends said it looked great. He had the same sentiments about the camera work being better than expected and the FX shots looking richer. We'll see....
