BTW... it's been determined that those are guys in biohazard suits....and not little monsters. As far as we can tell, there's absolutely no hint at there being smaller monsters in Cloverfield.

This was a photo taking awhile ago for a interview..

That's the lady in the trailer that looks like is being attacked.... but it's really just biohazard guys. What happened to her though?.... I have no idea.

Plus in the new trailer Rob says, "7 hours ago some THING attacked the city." As in only one..... further confirmation that there's no little monsters.

Actually, I think that scene was altered or the rumor fake, because I remember someone mentioning a little girl or a young woman getting shot down by army guys because she was infected....and she was bleeding from her eyes.

I knew those shadows couldn't be creatures, they had to be HazMat guys, because the camera isn't in "frenzy" mode like it'd be if they were being chased. Also, not once int he traiel do they allude to there being smaller creatures. I'm guessing the rumor came about because of the hazmat guys' shadows grabbing the lady, and that scene where there's someone or something standing behind a white sheet.

I'm pleased Cloverfield is the name. Didn't really think any other name would fit.

That one tiny little clip of the monster. Definitely looks green and scaly. So no lion!

Earlier I was saying how the SFX look improved with the SoL's head. My bad, that little negative camera flash at the end of the scene threw me off. It's still way off.

Hey I know the thing about little monsters has been debunked. But that scene with the Hazmat guys and the girl. Am I crazy or do I hear a loud growl at the end of the cut? What if that chick ate something with deep sea nectar in it, and the monster's radiation (or whatever) spreads through out the city and it transforms people into mini versions of itself. Honestly, that kind of fits.

There's a growl. Could be something else, but at the theater, I KNOW I heard the growl...not like the monster's growl, but a smaller, lesser version. But we don't necessarily see anything concerning some monster....

I might sound far-fetched, but I think that "growl" was the lady screaming.... :shock:

However, the second growl after the woman says "did you hear that?".....now THAT was a growl. In the theater you can clearly hear it. Whether or not that means something else is out there besides the main monster, is something else.

DUDE, LOOK CLOSER AT THE GIRL BEING GRABBED BY HAZARD DUDES. She is definitely expanding around her stomach. w00t!

*edit* someone was saying it looked like she was changing and I was like, Pffffffffffft, shut up.

I went and looked at the trailer again, and Danno is right. It definitely does look like something is happening to her.

So maybe the rumors about Slusho that were mentioned before are true and cause the smaller monsters to burst out of people?

If you scroll down and look at the pictures posted Friday, it looks like the last one shows what's going on behind that curtain in the trailer, and the interesting thing is it looks like the side of her shirt is bloody. You only see her from the back, so maybe its after whatever happens to her happened?

All that does is make her look conceited. I believe that in Hollywood, you're lucky to even BE in a movie....ESPECIALLY when it's "all you can do in life".

Whatever.

Anyways, back on Topic, I KNEW the girl looked like something was wrong with her....esp. the way she was screaming and squirming(trust me, at the movies it's clearer)....but I didn't wanna look....foolish.

I think they did this to lengthen the plot out as much as possbile, even though I think this movie'll clock out to 96 - 105 mins running time. Though honestly, I HATE the chestburster concept since ALIEN pretty much did it, overdid it, improved it, made it gorier, then pretty much emphasized it completely.....plus, it's nasty.

I don't think IMAX shows trailers with their showings.....I went to Matrix Revolutions and Transformers and none of them had trailers, they just jumped straight to the movie(IMAX, BTW, is REALLY overrated).
