So...a Venom Spin off and is Sinister Six just going to be Spider-Man 4?

This was a pretty decent trailer....but it's still looks like a train wreck (seriously, that scene between Spiderman and Electro look like it was out of a PS3 game).I agree with what some others have said in that I think they have rebooted this franchise far too soon following the Raimi films...

Am I inferring this wrong or are they seriously talking about making a Sinister Six movie as a spinoff from the Amazing Spider-Man series? As in, a movie starring six Spider-Man villains that doesn't feature Spider-Man? That sounds so ridiculous that I feel like I must be interpreting it wrong, but they're talking about building a cinematic universe that spans multiple movies like what Marvel Studios has done and they're referring to The Amazing Spider-Man 3, Venom, and The Sinister Six as three different movies. If the latter two featured Spider-Man wouldn't that just make them The Amazing Spider-Man 4 and 5?

I can understand the thought process behind wanting to make a solo Venom film, even though I think it's a stupid idea, but the idea of having six Spider-Man villains star as a team in their own movie just seems too absurd for words. I have to be inferring this wrong... right?

I dunno it just seems like it'd be weird to make a Sinister Six film just about them...that's why I feel like they're just calling it Sinister Six to make a bigger event out of it, but it's effectively ASM 4.

That's the one way this makes sense to me.

I still haven't watched the first one...I actually plan on doing that soon.

The trailer was interesting, but man the effects looked...cartoonish.

New Green Goblin looks like sh*t.

I HATE the Power Ranger Goblin from the first movie and even I might prefer it to this thing. I didn't think it could get any worse but I guess I was wrong.

That doesn't really look like Harry. I think it's better than Raimi's Goblin but still not as good as classic Goblin.

This is looking worse and worse and I'm loving it! It's like being told a train full of fireworks and TNT and another train filled with custard and nitroglycerin are running full tilt towards each other for a head on collision.

It's horrible to wish for someone's failure, but this studio's craven desire to overextend Spider-Man (a single character) into an expansive superhero universe (like Marvel Studios) just seems the height of stupidity, and I think it would be hilarious if this killed the whole thing at the beginning.
