I know Play-Arts Kai exaggerates some things but this mask is distinctly different from the one with the halloween costume.

I like it much better.

So just when I was starting to warm up on this movie a little, this comes to light.

If this is true, its utter bullsh*t and a total mangling of the origin. It all stinks of the "lets change stuff just because" vibe that I've been getting from this movie all along. Krypton still existing negates so much of who the character is and so much of his origin.

Many people seem to be saying "oh well if this is his new origin then now he can just go home whenever he likes", but if he's been declared an unwanted outcast to the point where he is forcibly ejected - not just from his home, or country, but from his ENTIRE PLANET - then surely there's plenty of room for him to feel that he's "all alone in the universe" and unable to go back, in a different sense?

I'm not suggesting that this is either a good or bad idea, just that perhaps this is what they are going for rather than "oh hey I feel like I might go back to Krypton now, which I can easily do"
