I love the first half of BSG's US theme. Can someone describe the UK opening and theme?

By the way, if Megloman is still peaking in on this thread, Ron Moore admited in his Blog he stole the idea of previewing the week's show in the opening sequence from Space 1999, so I guess it is something of Gerry Anderson trademark (And Moore is a bit to young to remember UFO).

^ You can download the UK opening from the link in my post on the previous page (which I prefer to the US version, especially the drums in the second half which are clearly better than that portion of the US opening despite what taku wants to tell himself :wink:

).

I never saw any of Space 1999 but they did the same thing with Thunderbirds and that's immediately what I thought of when it became clear that the previews were going to be a standard part of each episode's opening, so it only figures that it was indeed a Gerry Anderson show he got the inspiration from.

Don't get Sci-Fi Channel...

Never saw the new BSG series, only the original and the mini...

I LOVED the original and I'm dying to see the new one.

Baltar was hilarious in tonights show!!!!!

sort of SPOILER space

When he is caught red handed trying to demolish the computer console with the evidence linking him with the cylon's attack on the colonies... even as Adama and armed men enter the to arrest him he vainly makes tiny side steps trying to block the remaining monitor displaying his face from their view! That had me rolling on the floor in laughter.
