I can't add anything to what's been said before, but here are the 4 big problems I see right off.
1.) S-shield too small
2.) The red is practically brown. I don't mind the blue so much as it's similar in tone to the Reeve uniform. But the 'red' is so muddy it darkens the whole uniform and [as said earlier] makes the suit look like the evil Superman from SIII.
3.) The shorts, that's a glaring issue right there. They almost look like women's undergarments to tell the truth. Just having the short come up another belt's width makes a world of difference.
4.) The boots, the are cut a little low. Or rather, they don't have the distinctive front to back sloping cut.
EG The boots' tops should have been more like the ones for the Dean Cain S-uniform
I don't really mind the S-shield for the belt buckle, even though it is rather redundant considering there is a big one on Superman's chest. But since that's a small[ish] detail I'm not too bothered by it.

good job Ultraseven. Now go to my recent posts on "what the superman costume SHOULD look like, and place in the fan altered version of the new one, and then the version from the "Worlds Finest" trailer.
