I still wish the Green Hornet movie turned out like the 2005/2006 fan film...

This is not to say that I wanted a carbon copy of Batman Begins/The Dark Knight (in some ways I think Nolan's Bat-movies may be a bit too dark and "gritty", more of an issue with TDK than BB). There's ample space for "logical/natural" humor within the context of the movie's "world" EG The Empire Strikes Back, Superman, and Iron-Man without turning the story into a comedy.

After the Seth Rogen movie I'm kind of surprised that we're getting news of another Green Hornet film. I'm hopeful that it will be a good Green Hornet movie this time around.

Something like Aurélien Poitrimoult 2006 fan film would be cool. Imagine if Sony had done a GH movie like Poitrimoult's fan film -- Sony might have been releasing their third or fourth sequel by now.
