Uh, so here's the General Zod Halloween costume.

Basically, Zod's outfit appears to be Space Bane. Or an Engineer From Alien Bane.

Granted its just a dumb Halloween costume, but I'm sure most of the features here will be on his actual costume.

Ok...all other things aside, this movie has the worst trailers I've ever seen. None of them draw me in or make me want to go see the movie. Fire the marketing geniuses behind these...please.

I don't mind Zod's actual suit... it reminds me a little of the Russian Zod from the comics.

That said, I don't like the mask for movie Zod.

Speaking of costumes, how come Superman's costume looks like its made out of basketballs?

Things that will make me go to the theater to see Man of Steel:

1) Krypto and or Lori Lemaris shows up in the 11th hour and saves the day.

2) Mr. Mxyzptlk is behind everything, and he's played by Tom Waits wearing an all purple version of what he usually wears.

Do yourselves a favor and, instead of buying a movie ticket, buy a used copy of the 1988 edition of The Greatest Superman Stories Ever Told. I just finished reading it and it's delightful!
