Even if Batman does kill people, it would take a lot of effort to make him as gratuitously murderous as in Tim Burton's films.

I can't say that I'm really surprised by this. Superman killed Zod in Man of Steel, so it shouldn't be a surprise that Batman does the same, considering Batman is supposed to be a darker superhero. I personally don't like it, I was raised on Superman and Batman not killing the villains at any cost. But I guess today's audiences don't see that as realistic. So who am I to argue.

But, I am still looking forward to this movie. However the second trailer got me concerned. From what I saw, I don't like Eisenberg as Luthor, and I don't see why they had to bring in Doomsday. I understand that Superman and Batman must resolve their differences and end up on the same team, but I think they could've done this in a more creative way than a big brawl with Doomsday and Wonder Woman thrown in to give a helping hand.

Last year there was a rumor floating around of Batman Vs Superman being a two parter. I think they really should've done that, this movie seems to be so cluttered as it is, I feel it may collapse under it's own weight. But I really hope I'm wrong and it turns out to be an amazing movie. Guess we'll find out next month.

I'm not sure I buy he's a murderer. He's been killing small fry, but Joker lives after all these years? Doesn't add up.

Because in the DC cinematic universe the Joker is a former Robin that has been twisted and corrupted by some variant of a more traditional Joker. Batman blames himself and hopes that with treatment he can be better

Nothing about those quotes sounds like "murderer" to me.

"More than a cop" and "pushed to his limits" and "seen the worst of what men can do" doesn't mean "Murdering people"

It seems like a pretty big extrapolation, honestly. I think it's just an excuse to get him looking deeper into Superman. Batman is going to be super cynical, therefore he won't believe Superman is a good guy.

EDIT: Maybe Batman just "doesn't kill" like this:

That's your super bowl ad? A freaking airline tie-in ad?

You know what get's people pumped for super hero movies? A soothing narration.

Also, no spinning earth on the Daily Planet roof. Booooo!

I thought it was one of the more creative ads for a Super Bowl movie spot. Dug the Gotham City version as well.

I had to adjust the brightness up on my monitor to watch that. Looks like some real solid batman moments in the mix there

Upcoming dark superhero slugfest is the dark second act in Superman's dark superhero trilogy, according to Chris Terrio.

It is fun to see that Wonder Woman is a bright spot in most of these mostly negative reviews. We've had decades of Batman and Superman movies, so another outing for them, poor or not, isn't as important as the most iconic female hero finally getting her due.

^I've always imagined there's some pressure to put a bit of a positive spin on big blockbusters so that the reviewer and the publication don't look like out of touch farts who don't like what's popular.

I guess it just depends on what news outlets you follow. I've seen some shimmering reviews for this film, and some not so flattering ones. I guess it all just depends on who-paid-who to say what, which is why I have never put any validity in the film-critic industry.
There are no more good TV Shows, only ones that haven't disappointed me yet.
