That was the most pointless and unnecessary trailer I have ever seen. Is this really what they are showing in theaters? It told us nothing we didn't already know. It showed us nothing we haven't already been shown.

My issue was mostly in that I was uninterested in what I was seeing, as I've said elsewhere...I'll still go watch it.

There was one moment of levity in the trailer: I let out a hearty laugh when I read the prominent 'Batman Created by Bob Kane' credit.

I've rarely felt so bored by a (teaser) trailer for a major movie. I can see interesting ideas here and there, but the overall presentation is gloomy and dull. Maybe the next trailer will be better.

I don't think it looks that bad really. It's a teaser trailer, so of course it's not going to give us much new, but it looks exactly like what WB has promised they were going to do with these movies and within that framework I see nothing poor about it.

It's really no better or worse of a teaser than the infinitely over-hyped Star Wars teaser preying on everyone's nostalgia today.

Watched the actual trailer for Batman vs Superman. Oh my god this movie looks absolutely terrible. Enough with the Superman/Jesus comparisons!!! BATMAN DOES NOT BLOW PEOPLE UP!!! Does Zack Snyder even read DC comic books? It seems like he has no idea how these characters' personalities are supposed to be. Also, DC is absolutely allergic to color. Why was the entire trailer dark, at night, and raining?

I feel kind of bad when people say DC did this or that. DC Comics has zero control over what happens outside of the comics. It's not just the DC movies that are bad; everything that WB touches has been wretched for a long time.

I think the Star Wars trailer killed the hype on this trailer for me. Besides wasn't this supposed to be released later but since the leak they decided just to officially toss it on the net?

Trying to disregard my Star Wars hype, I do love that they have a shot of Batman on a tower(building?) with his serrated cape flowing in the wind. Love those hero shots in movies and that was on thing TDK and TDKR was lacking in my opinion.

But I wonder if Batfleck's voice will always be digitally distorted like in the trailer or if that's just a side effect of the mechsuit.

I didn't mean "didn't exist" by lacking but they weren't as prominent as they were in Batman Begins. It's all my opinion. It doesn't make those movies better or worse for it. It's just my tastes in "hero shots". I'd accept a movie with the length of a LotR film with the tracking shots replaced with the film equivalent of comic book splash pages and hero shots.
