I keep thinking to myself at just how successful this film will be in the box office. I personally think there is no way it could do a cent under 1 billion world wide. Opening week alone will possibly break records. What do you guys think?

Any film with Batman in the title is going to make big money.. but only two entries broke the billion dollar mark. Man of Steel topped out at under $670 million. So really it will depend on the reviews... I don't think TDK would have been a massive success if it hadnt been for Heath Ledgers untimely demise gathering interest from movie goers that don't typically buy into capes and cowls.

I'm just saying it's two of the biggest heroes in history going up against each other. That should spark interest from regular movie goers and comic book nerds.

Man of Steel was a decent movie for being a Superman movie. However, it put more focus on Bayplosions and random flashbacks over competent story telling.

The thing is, DC is completely rushing into JL. Instead of spending the next five years developing their characters, they are just going to cram them all into every movie just to try and catch up with Marvel. It doesn't work that way. The reason it worked for Marvel is because they let the characters guide them to the Avengers. Then you have them insulting the TV series by not putting the movies into those universes.

They should be utilizing Flash and Arrow to help build up their world and have the movies for big events and team ups and bring in characters they can't on a TV show budget.

And eyt, they're not. I believe there was a post where DC spoke about something about a multiverse? I dunno, maybe it'll all turn out for the best for DC. They wouldn't rush into this all with atleast some kind of plan to make it work out for the best.

The movie will make money, of that I have no doubt. Batman. Batman alone gets your $500 million. Even if it STINKS TO HIGH-HEAVEN...it's less about how much money this makes than it is about how excited people are for more walking out of the theater. Man of Steel left people rather unexcited such that DC felt the need to hit the panic button and do the Batman v. Superman movie people have been buzzing about since the early 2000s.

Well in that case, again, let's hope they have some sort of plan. Otherwise the MCU is gonna mop the floor with DC.

So far we have Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Superman. Now I guess we get images of Cyborg next. I hope Batman cameos in Suicide Squad putting Joker in jail or something.

Huh, strange...Dr. Strange. Wait, that's Marvel. Um, which makes me realize I think the reason they chose Cyborg over Martian Manhunter in Justice League was because Vision and the Manhunter have many similarities. Including passing through objects and the fact that they are not human.
