I agree with all of that.

Also, Spidey isn't coming to the MCU. Even if he was he wouldn't get his own film until after 2020. I just feel sorry for the people who still think he's appearing in Civil War. I saw a kid comment about Spidey on Robert Downey Jr. facebook page and just felt so bad for him.

He won't be in Civil War yes but they're going to try to get him for Infinity War Part 1.

I haven't seen it disproven yet. It's still a rumor at this point.

Yeah seeing as how the rumor just came up about 2 weeks ago I'm not sure how "long ago" it could have been disproven, but if you've got a recent link showing where it was debunked I'd like to see it (no sarcasm there, I really would like to see it).

I used to take believe rumors but after being dissappointed so many times I choose not to believe anything at all until officially stated. Because it usuaulyy either gets denied or proven wrong.

A lot of this sounds like gobbledygook.

Salt 2? Dragon Tattoo sequels? Men in Black?

I smell bullcrap.

Sony's spinning the leaks into an excuse to drop projects they never were going to make in the first place and be able to have a scapegoat for doing so.

"Aw shucks! We were totally gonna make a sequel to Salt, a movie that cost $110 million and grossed $205 million, but we can't NOW, not after all those leaked e-mails. That's the reason. YEAH! If you're one of the six people on Earth who liked Salt, don't be mad at us at Sony for never making a Salt 2, be mad at Amy Pascal for all those terrible e-mails and hackers for leaking them!"

i'd expect them to let it rest... reset any stigma and then remake the brand their own... hopefully they could do that without another origin story.

This is excellent news. It'd be great if Marvel could work out deals with Fox so we could eventually get a Secret Wars film.
